Terms of Use
These terms govern the NEYA iPhone app and this website. By using NEYA, you agree to them. The privacy policy is part of this agreement.
The app
NEYA is a personal food diary. It estimates calories and macros, lets you log water, weight, and fasting, and can show steps or activity calories if you enable Apple Health. It is not a care service and not a medical device under applicable law.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use NEYA on your Apple devices, subject to the App Store rules. You may not copy, sell, extract, or circumvent the app except as allowed by law.
Age
NEYA is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13. Fasting, a calorie deficit, or weight tracking is not appropriate for everyone, including minors, people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and people with an eating disorder.
Not medical advice
Calculations (including Mifflin-St Jeor), BMI, scores, and fasting timers are estimates. They can be wrong. They do not replace a doctor, dietitian, or other clinician. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of an eating disorder, get medical advice before using NEYA to change your diet or to fast.
Your content
The diary, recipes, and foods you enter stay on your iPhone. You remain responsible for them. NEYA does not host them. If you share them yourself (for example a grocery list), that happens outside our servers.
Food data sources
Generic foods come from the Ciqual 2025 table (Anses, Licence Ouverte / Etalab 2.0). Packaged products may come from Open Food Facts (ODbL). Those databases can contain errors or missing values. Check labels when it matters to you.
Apple Health, camera, network
Apple Health and the camera are optional and controlled by iOS. Searching or scanning an unknown packaged product may call Open Food Facts. Details are in the privacy policy.
Availability
We may fix, change, or remove features. The app depends on iOS, Apple Health, and, when used, Open Food Facts — services we do not control.
Liability
NEYA is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for diet decisions, fasting, a weight goal, or indirect loss arising from the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (for example gross negligence, or consumer rights that cannot be waived).
Intellectual property
The NEYA name, mark, and app interface belong to us, subject to third-party rights (Apple, Anses / Ciqual, Open Food Facts, fonts). Apple, HealthKit, and other Apple marks belong to Apple Inc.
App Store
If you downloaded NEYA from the App Store, Apple’s rules also apply. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app, except as Apple’s own terms provide.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections in their country of residence. After an attempt to resolve the matter at neya@trycordi.com, French courts have jurisdiction, subject to consumer-protection rules.
